#breaks 21 2 34 · #breakbeat #breakbeats

An umbrella for breakbeat-driven electronic music: looped and chopped funk and soul drum breaks as the rhythmic foundation instead of a 4/4 kick. Covers classic breakbeat, #bigbeat, #breakbeattechno and #breakcore, and is the ancestor of #jungle and #drumandbass.
